In partnership with the Issaquah School District, Influence the Choice hosts the Action Forum for Youth each September.
This annual community event brings youth and adults together to explore local data, hear directly from students, and turn insight into action. The forum highlights Healthy Youth Survey data in a clear, accessible way, helping participants understand current, local trends in youth substance use and what they mean for our community. The event features a guest speaker, a presentation about the data from Influence the Choice, and a student panel that centers youth voices and lived experiences. Together, these elements spark conversation, build shared understanding, and support meaningful, sustainable solutions that promote youth well-being. |

Thank you to the dozens of parents, teachers, and community members who joined us for Action Forum for Youth in September 2025. Together, you came to learn, connect, and engage in meaningful conversation, and hopefully left feeling informed and empowered to take action in support of youth well-being.
During the forum, we explored Healthy Youth Survey data from 2023, as the survey is conducted biannually. Looking ahead, save the date for Action Forum for Youth in September 2026, when we’ll share and discuss the newest Healthy Youth Survey data released in fall 2025. More information coming soon! |

The Healthy Youth Survey provides important survey results about the health of adolescents in Washington. County prevention coordinators, community mobilization coalitions, community public health and safety networks, and others use this information to guide policy and programs that serve youth.
