Teens Encouraging

Community Health

Mission: A youth-led coalition dedicated to substance

misuse prevention and mental wellness through positive

 outreach and advocacy.
Middle and high school students (ages 12–18) from the Issaquah School District team up in TECH (Teens Encouraging Community Health) to build leadership skills, learn about healthy choices, and create real change in their communities. Through your involvement with TECH, you’ll have opportunities to:
  • Meet with local and state leaders and advocate for change at Youth Advocacy Day
  • Inspire younger students at our Power of Me, Power of We conference
  • Spark creativity and community change through the Art with Influence contest
  • Earn volunteer hours or even pioneer your own project in partnership with TECH
  • Take on a leadership role through student-elected positions on the TECH Executive Committee
Students in TECH have the chance to make a real, positive impact, both in their schools and throughout the community.
