New Program!
Substance-Free Athletics - Protect their GAME!
Help Young Athletes Protect Their Game and Avoid Alcohol and other Substance Use!
At Influence the Choice, we're on a mission to equip our youth with tools to live substance-free. Our Substance-Free Athletics curriculum provides coaches with short lesson plans to guide student athletes toward healthy decision making. Help teen athletes "Protect their Game" and avoid alcohol and other drug use.
Substance-Free Athletics provides:
- Quick tips for coaches to share with athletes talking about dangers of substance use.
- Educational resources and curriculum for drug-free coaching lessons and workshops through Substance-Free Athletics.
- A supportive community where athletes learn from their coaches and peers to resist peer pressure and stay healthy.
Why It Matters:
Sports can be a powerful platform for change. Coaches are trusted role models, and when they speak out about the importance of living a drug-free life, they directly influence the future of our youth. By supporting this initiative, you’re giving coaches the tools to lead by example and make an impact that extends far beyond the playing field.
Join us in Creating Champions:
On the field and in life. Your contribution will ensure that young athletes not only succeed in sports but also in making choices that keep them healthy, strong, and drug-free. Give Today!

ISD Middle Schoolers:
We Had a Blast with You at Power of Me, Power of We!
November 2024
In November, former TECH Chair, Addie Willows, facilitated our
Power of Me, Power of We Youth Conference. Students shared that they learned ways to build stronger connections with peers and walked away with techniques to refuse alcohol and other drugs when offered to them by their peers. And in the process, they made friends along the way. Thank you to the Issaquah Kiwanis Club for their gracious grant that helped fund this event Thank you to Nothing Bundt Cakes in Issaquah, for their donation of cupcakes. |
Parents and caregivers have a significant influence on their children’s decisions about using alcohol and other drugs. Check out these "Talk. They Hear You." campaign resources to help you start talking with your kids about these issues at a young age. |
You are welcome to attend our monthly meetings via Zoom
