THIS IS A FULL WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT AND INCLUDES A COMMITMENT TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS INFLUENCE THE CHOICE IN THIS MATTER. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT ABOVE CAREFULLY BEFORE ACKNOWLEDGING. *

I understand that walking/running and/or volunteering for a race event such as the ITC Fun Run is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause or result in injury or death. By my acknowledgement below, I represent and warrant that I am medically fit, in good health, properly trained/conditioned to participate in the Event, and have no physical conditions that would in any way limit or prevent me from safely and successfully participating in the Event. I acknowledge that Influence the Choice makes no representation as to my fitness for the Event, and it is understood that I am and shall be solely responsible for undertaking such activity and any/all risks associated with the Event. I agree to abide by any decision of an Event official relative to any aspect of my participation in this Event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I assume all risks associated with walking, running and/or otherwise participating in this Event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including snow and ice, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known, appreciated and accepted by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, scooters and roller blades are not allowed in the Event, and I will abide by this guideline.

Having read and agreed to this Waiver, knowing these facts, and in consideration of acceptance of my entry, I hereby, for myself and my executors and administrators, fully and forever waive and release any and all claims I have or may have against Influence the Choice and all sponsors, and their respective owners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns for any and all claims, liabilities, injuries and damages (including death), which may occur or be suffered in any way in connection with, or arising from my participation in the Event, even though such may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this Waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing individuals and entities to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of the Event for any reasonably acceptable purpose.

In consideration of permission for me to participate in the Event, I promise to indemnify and hold harmless Influence the Choice from any liability or lawsuit brought by or on behalf of any third party, for injuries (including death) or damages arising out of or related to my participation in the Event. This indemnity and hold harmless shall include the reimbursement of any costs and attorneys’ fees incurred by any released and indemnified party in enforcing this agreement (including attorneys’ fees and costs incurred on appeal). I understand and agree that this creates a contractual liability between me and the Influence the Choice for the express benefit of all released and indemnified parties, and I understand, stipulate, warrant, represent and agree that the consideration of allowing me to participate in said Event is adequate and sufficient consideration to make this contract binding on me and, if I am married, my marital community.

Family registration is $100.00 and covers up to 6 participants. It is a great way of adding a bit more to your support. 

As a community nonprofit, additional donations are always welcomed and appreciated.

Please consider sponsoring a family’s registration scholarship by adding this additional amount to your payment and we will add your name to the Registration Sponsorship Page on our website to express our gratitude.

Sponsored registrations will graciously become donations if not needed.
