Student Led Success!

"The Power of Me, The Power of We" engages youth in concepts of leadership and healthy choices in a way that fosters independent thinking, creative expression, and practical skill development. Through a variety of games, activities, and discussions, we succeeded in awakening leadership skills they didn’t know they had.  Facilitated by local high school students and Nigel Wrangham, the participants were provided valuable problem-solving skills, and empowered them to become change-makers in the areas of substance abuse prevention and mental health promotion.

These skills include:
· Originality
· Collaboration
· Open-mindedness
· Integrity, Courage
· Determination

Students asked themselves, "What do I have to offer to our community?"   Here are some student participants speaking about their experience with this event!
